Trailer Talk: Venky Mama - After Venky Aasan, it is Jingidi Mama!

Venky Mama is the first film in which a Akkineni hero and a Daggubati hero have come together on screen. The multistarrer has been a long unrealised dream of legendary producer, D. Ramanaidu.
2019 has been successful for Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya as their films - F2 & Majili became blockbusters at the box office. Now, they are coming together with a village film that talks about relationship between a nephew and his uncle - mother's brother.
The movie has been long in production but the team announced release date during the last week of November in haste as no suitable dates are available. They missed Dussehra and hence, for Christmas, they could only find 13th December, as suitable date. Sankranthi season was too packed to even try.
Characters of other cast members have been revealed in the trailer. It seems like Nasser is playing father of Venkatesh who becomes mother and father of Naga Chaitanya. Rao Ramesh is the local politician, who is the family foe and Dasari Arun kumar is his henchman.
Raashi Khanna and Naga Chaitanya fall in love in college, while Venkatesh remains unmarried for Chaitu. So, his marriage and love story with Payal Rajput who has come to the village as a teacher from Hindi state, becomes the fun part in first half.
We have to wait and see, why keeping both Mana and Alludu, is essential for the story. Military part plays big role in that aspect of story for sure.
Thaman came up with Jingidi Mama tune and this seems to be a special edition for Venkatesh as his Venky Aasan from F2, became popular. K.S. Ravindra aka Bobby seems to have followed 90's template but made it fun for families to enjoy at theatres. Let's watch the film for further dissection on 13th December.
