Veteran Actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar Dies Of Coronavirus

Veteran actress and Marathi theatre personality Ashalata Wabgaonkar died after battling COVID-19. She was 79. The actor had gone to Satara to shoot for her Marathi serial Aai Kalubai where she had been tested for coronavirus. She breathed her last in Satara while undergoing treatment.
As per reports, her last rites will be performed at Satara. She is survived by her son. Around 20 to 22 members of the crew have tested positive, but Wabgaonkar was the only one among the cast who was said to be critical.
The actress had worked in several Bollywood movies too. She has over 100 movies, plays, and series to her credit. Meanwhile, condolences began pouring as the film stars and politicians are taking to social media to post their deepest condolences
