'Rana Naidu' is one web series that has been making a lot of noise these days. Made by Karan Anshuman and Supran Verma, his crime drama is an Indian adaptation of the Showtime series 'Ray Donovan' which started in 2013 and ran for seven seasons. This series has gained a lot of significance because Daggubati heroes Rana and Venkatesh are making their OTT debuts with it.

With Netflix streaming this show, it is clear that the boldness is going to be very high. During every promotional interview and media interaction, Rana Daggubati made it clear that it is not a show that you watch with your family and advised them to watch it separately. Even Venkatesh said that he never did such a role before and claimed that he asked the makers to tone down the violence and foul language at places. Both heroes mentioned that 'Rana Naidu' is an 18+ web series.

While people expected it to be somewhat like 'Farzi' or 'Family Man' where the audience can adjust to the filthy language, 'Rana Naidu' is levels above that it terms of skin show, sex scenes, bloodshed, boldness and profanity. Each episode is 50 minutes and this series comprises 10 episodes. But a few minutes into the first episode, you will be stunned at the level of vulgarity and adult content presented in this show. People who are used to watching Venkatesh in family films all the time are in for a massive shock. While the youth may give it a go, the family audience will definitely stay as far as possible from 'Rana Naidu' and 'Netflix' after this.

Apart from the two lead actors, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi and others play key roles. It is made in Hindi as well as Telugu. Karan Anshuman created this crime drama while Suparn Vaerma and Karan directed it. Ananya Mody provided the story while BVS Ravi penned the screenplay.
