Tamil hero Vishnu who is enjoying a good craze in Kollywood has secured a decent following in Telugu states too. Some of his recent outings like 'Raatsasan' and 'FIR' got a good response from the Telugu audience too. Now, he is getting ready to please them with a Tamil and Telugu bilingual titled 'Matti Kusthi'. The trailer came out recently and impressed the viewers. This movie is hitting the screens on 2nd December and the talented hero has interacted with the media recently.
Talking about similarities with 'Sultan', the actor said, "There isn't any similarity to Sultan in the movie. However, the audience will be surprised after learning why my character plays Kusthi, a Kabbadi player. This trailer was the toughest one to cut in my career, and three different editors worked on it. If we reveal something, the essence of the film gets lost. We makers need to be clever to outsmart the audience. I don't want to preach anything to the audience as I believe cinema influences society."
About the movie, he said that the movie is a love story more than a sports drama. Apparently, they have a lot of surprises for the audience in theatres and they worked really hard to not reveal anything in the trailer. He stated that the ego clashes between wife and husband are going to play a crucial part.
As we know, Ravi Teja is co-producing this film. Vishnu Vishal said, "I have come in touch with Ravi sir through Swetha, who is a friend of my wife. Swetha arranged a meeting with Ravi Teja sir, and he said he liked some of my works. During that time, I told Ravi sir I wanted to become a mass hero. It was like he wanted to do content films, and I wanted to do mass films like him. Then I showed him the FIR trailer. Then I said Matti Kusthi line to Ravi sir. He loved it and told me that he wanted to produce the film."
This film is bankrolled under Vishnu Vishal Studioz and Ravi Teja's 'RT Teamworks'. Chella Ayyavu is the writer and director of this film while Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer. Prasanna is the editor and Richard M Nathan is the cinematographer. Stunts composed by Anbariv are going to be the biggest strength of this movie.
