Young hero Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with 'Custody'. He teamed up with Tamil director Venkat Prabhu and the first look poster created a lot of curiosity over the project. Krithi Shetty is the heroine while Naga Chaitanya will be seen as a police officer.
Naga Chaitanya arrived with 'Thank You' in 2022 and the movie ended up as a disaster at the box office. His maiden Hindi film 'Laal Singh Chadda' too ended up disappointing the audience. This year proved out to be very unlucky for the hero and he is focused on his movie 'Custody' right now and making sure that everything goes well.
In the meanwhile, people are curious to know what happened with his web series 'Dhootha'. This horror web series was announced long back and the teaser also came out. Many expected this web series to release on Amazon Prime Video long back but it did not happen. Directed by his 'Manam' and 'Thank You' maker Vikram Kumar, 'Dhootha' is reportedly kept on hold. Amazon Prime officials are quite particular on the quality of the content and there will be a lot of reshoots, re-editing and changes in the script if they feel that it is necessary.
Since Naga Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar are not in a good form, they planned to postpone its release. They are waiting for a positive buzz to start over the hero so that they could capitalize on it. While they kept the release of 'Dhoota' on hold, reports claim that they have already asked Vikram Kumar to come up with the script of its second season. Let us wait and see when this web series comes out.
