Why Amitabh Bunked Syeraa's Teaser Launch?

Syeraa Narasimha Reddy features an ensemble of clast which includes Megastar Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Jagapathi Babu. AS the stars from various languages have acted in the film, it got pan-Indian attention.
The teaser launch of the film was held in a grand manner in Mumbai recently. All the main cast of the film attended the event barring Amitabh Bachchan and Nayanthara. Everyone though Amitabh would attend the event and also added that the teaser launch is being held in Mumbai only for him. But shockingly, the actor didn't turn up for the event.
We hear that the makers did this purposefully. They didn't want Amitabh to promote film right from the beginning and are planning to bring the SUperstar to the pre-release event of the film. Apparently, they feared that Big B might not attend the pre-release event if he would've attended the teaser launch. The pre-release event is expcted to held in the third week of Spetember, either in Hyderabad or Vijayawada.
