Will It Be OTT Or ATT For Nanis V?

If everything went as planned, Natural star Nani's landmark 25th film 'V' would have hit the screens by the end of March and got premiered on television by now too. But the Corona pandemic hit the world and everything came to a halt. Large public gathering spots like theatres and malls are closed which made the makers of 'V' to postpone the film.

The team did not lean towards digital release in hope of the theatres reopening but it looks like the theatres are not going to restart anytime soon and even if they did open again, it would be with 25% occupancy which is of no use. So, the 'V' team has reportedly decided to opt for a digital release.

Though it is not officially confirmed, trusted sources say that Nani and Sudheer Babu's film will be the first big film from Tollywood to have a digital release. But we are still not sure whether 'V' will have an OTT release or an ATT release. While some say that Amazon has bought the rights for the film and will be releasing it soon, there is another discussion which says that Dil Raju has decided to develop his own ATT and release 'V' in it so that he could make the money other than selling it to other OTT platforms. We need to wait and see which way 'V' goes.

'V' is directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and Nani is playing a character with negative shades while Sudheer Babu will be seen as police. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari are the female leads in this thriller and Mani Sharma composed the music.
