Will Mahesh Take Up A Historical Subject?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the most handsome-looking persons in the entire country. Despite being in his forties, he is looking at least 10-15 years younger and he had done many interesting roles in his career. He can portray any kind of role with ease but every actor has certain limitations and many feel that it is historic roles for Mahesh. The 'Khaleja' actor has never done a historic subject till date and people have major doubts over his ability to deliver lengthy dialogues.
But the makers of 'Ramayana' are reportedly considering Mahesh Babu to play the lead role. Apparently, superstar and Bollywood hero Ranbir Kapoor are in contention to play lord Rama's role. News is that they met with both the actors and narrated the script. No final decision has been made yet but reports suggest that they think that a hero with a good image in both North and South would be more bankable for their project which is made on a budget of over 500 crores.
'Dangal' and 'Chichchore' fame Nitesh Tiwari is going to direct this movie while Ravi Udyawar is going to work on the script. While the hero is yet to be decided, the team has decided that Hrithik Roshan will be playing the antagonist's role. Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra are the producers of this movie.
