Will Rana's Role Be As Important As Pawan's?

Heroes usually get more screen time than any other character in a film. The stardom and craze of the stars force the filmmakers to write hero-worshipping scripts. But things seem to be changing in recent times and other actors are getting good screen time too. The primary importance is given to the story and if it needs a powerful villain, the makers aren't hesitating to give equal time for both hero and villain on the screen.
As we know, Pawan Kalyan and Rana are playing lead roles in 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' remake. We can see both the characters given equal importance in the original but with Pawan coming on board, many thought that he will be dominating the film. Rana's role was expected to be cut short.
But the sources close to the film's unit claim that Rana's role will be as important as Pawan's and he will be elevated equally. The shooting has started already and Saagar K Chandra is directing it. Trivikram made the changes in the script and even penned the dialogues for this flick produced under Sithara Entertainments banner. Thaman is its music composer.
