Having made his directorial debut with Ravi Teja's Don Seenu, talented director Gopichand Malineni had delivered another impressive hit to Mass Maharaja in the form of Balupu. However, his last two outings failed to reach audience expectations.
Gopichand, as well as, Ravi Teja had pinned high hopes on their third collaboration 'Krack' to bounce back in the industry. Krack hit screens on January 9 and opened to a blockbuster opening at the theatres despite 50% occupancy and pandemic situations. With the success of the film, the director has bounced back and became attention for many young heroes.
But before the release of Krack, Malineni was planning his next with Nandamuri Balakrishna. As per talk, Mythri Movie Makers had paid an advance for Gopichand Malineni to helm Balakrishna's next.
But now, the director's fortune has changed with the success of Krack. He is now getting calls from some young star actors. In this case, it remains to be seen will the director proceeds with Balakrishna's project or not.
