Senior Actress Yamuna was arrested on charges of prostitution at Bengaluru in the year 2011. She, however, obtained clean chit from the court on June 30th, 2015 as cops failed to submit sufficient proofs to prove her charge. It was her family who stood by her side during the tough phase and helped her overcome the suicidal tendencies. She began focusing on opportunities in Television field after the case against her was dismissed.
In her recent interview, Yamuna shared many interesting facts about her life and career. It was Balachander who introduced Yamuna with a Tamil flick and she played Suhasini's sister in her launch pad. The veteran filmmaker given her the screen name 'Yamuna'.
Yamuna: 'For Kodama Simham, Makers thought of casting Me opposite Chiranjeevi. They, however, roped any actress as they couldn't get my contact. I missed the opportunity due to lack of PR and Cell Phones. Even NTR tried to rope Me for Balayya's flick. I couldn't do that film as well due to the same reason. Kaikala Satyanarayana told Me about them when we were shooting for Krishna's 'Rudra''.
