The team of 'PS-1' have recently released a song named 'Alanai Neekai' which is a soothing melody that is honey to the ears. AR Rahman gives a soft tune that is simple yet magical. These are the type of songs which can be used to relax your mind. This song is currently going viral and there is one major reason for it.
Apart from being a song from a big film and AR Rahman composing it, a young singer named Anantara Nandy has sung and her mellifluous voice is stealing hearts right now. Despite a catchy tune, Rahman hasn't done anything extraordinary in terms of tune but the selection of Anantara Nandy is where he succeeded according to many.
The young singer who won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champions back in 2009 has sung this song in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. Interestingly, she sang songs in Assamese and Bengali but not in the three languages mentioned above. This is her first song and getting such an applause from the audience is surely satisfying to her. Experts say that she has everything to go to the next level.
Produced under Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners, the cast of the film includes Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R Parthiban. Ravi Varman is the director of photography while Sreekar Prasad is the editor. The action was composed by Kecha Khamphakdee, Sham Kaushal & Dhilip Subbarayan. Dil Raju is releasing this film in the Telugu states on 30th September.
