It bought the OTT rights of this blockbuster film in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. A few days back, they announced that the film will be made available to the viewers on a pay-per-view basis.

This decision by the OTT officials was met with severe backlash for the subscribers and common audience. So, they came up with a new update regarding the digital release which says, "Taking into consideration the views of its patrons and the general public, ZEE5 has decided to do away with the T-VOD mode and offer 'RRR' for all subscribers with the general subscription. ZEE5 has considered the requests made by Netizens, who have been demanding that 'RRR' be made free for existing subscribers. So, the streaming giant has made 'RRR' free for existing subscribers/paid users from May 20."

The film will be made available from 12:00 AM and fans cannot wait to watch this visual spectacle from the comfort of their homes. As we are aware, 'RRR' completed 50 days of its theatrical run at the box office. The pan-Indian film which was released on 25th March created a huge euphoria. The movie turned out to be the biggest opener in India by grossing 223 crores on the first day itself. Within a few weeks, the movie crossed 1100 crores at the box office. It got 250+ crores in the Hindi market alone. May 20th is a special day for Jr NTR's fans as it is his birthday. They will see the premiere as a special gift.

The film created a huge sensation and the performances of both the star heroes Ram Charan and NTR turned out to be the film's biggest assets.
