Hero Nani has got impeccable comic timing and nothing could stop his flow once he finds a character which offers good scope to generate comedy. We get the same feeling upon watching the promotional material of 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'. Let's have a look at what this character-driven flick offers...
Synopsis:
Lucky (Nani) is someone who is suffering from forgetting-Syndrome. He might be on his way to some place, but forgets the task the moment he meets a person and have a small chat with him/her. This defect eventually makes a person who was supposed to become his Father-in-Law hate him to the fullest. One fine day, Lucky meets Nandana (Lavanya) and uses the situations created because of his condition to his advantage. Both fall madly in love with each other and that's when Lucky finds out that the man who hates him the most is none other than Nandana's Father. How did Lucky manage the complex situation? Was he able to marry his Soulmate?
Performances:
Nani has breathed life into the character designed by Maruthi and 'BBM' is a proof of how good an actor he is. May be, This role would have touched the hearts so much had if some other actor has done it. He performs superbly in both Comedy & Emotional Scenes.
Lavanya Tripati is perfect as Nani's Love Interest and the rapport they shared is mesmerizing. We can surely expect more films in this deadly combination. She looked gorgeous though out the movie and her expressions were a treat to watch in few sequences.
Murali Sharma as Heroine's Father is impressive. Vennela Kishore keeps the audience in splits. Praveen is spontaneous as usual. Naresh & Sitara have done a good job. Srinivas Reddy is perfectly cast. Ajay, in a negative role, is every effective.
Pros:
Nani's Comic Timing
Lavanya Tripati
Humour
Songs
Cons:
Few Illogical Scenes
Technicalities:
Gopi Sundar's Songs were very nice. Particularly, 'Endaro Mahanubhavulu...' was composed in a different manner. Background Score is loud at times. Nijar Shafi's Camera Work is flawless and visuals appear so colorful. Dialogues are funny. Editing could have been more crisp. Maruthi was very successful in designing 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' as a clean family entertainer. Nothing to complain about the Production Values of Geetha Arts & UV Creations.
Analysis:
Director Maruthi has got a killer sense-of-humour. That was evident with his first two films 'Ee Rojullo' & 'Busstop'. He have the knack of generating humour out of simple situations. Nani, on the other hand, is capable of taking any scene to a next level with his performance, especially he is a rockstar when it comes to comedy. When such a Hero & Director team up, There won't be any dearth for rib-tickling moments in the movie.
50% of the success was achieved by Maruthi the moment he penned the story with a novel point of Hero suffering Diversion-Syndrome. People from all walks of life connect well with the subject as everyone might have forgotten something at some point in their lives. Maruthi has increased the comedy dose and took cinematic liberty whenever its required.
First Half of the movie promises hilarious entertainment. Scenes of Hero-Heroine First Meeting, Shankardada Spoof & Sentimental Scene involving a Pregnant Woman have created good impact here. However, The Second Half moves in a routine format but it wasn't a big issue at all as there is ample humour throughout the movie.
Maruthi deserves credit for adding a twist to Heroine's Father Role. Even though the pre-Climax is very emotional, Climax ends on a positive note with good humour. There was nothing new about Story & Screenplay, but lack of any boring moments is what makes 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' a must watch.
Bottom Line: Bhale Bhale...Entertainer!
