Synopsis:

Was Sweety successful in her mission? Know more by grabbing the tickets in theatres nearby!
Performances:
Anushka is more than perfect in the role of a Obese Youth. No other Southern Actress would have taken such a risk, especially while being at the peak of the career. She deserves all the praise for believing in the story so much and putting in lot of hardwork to get into the skin of her character. She performs superbly and steals the show in 'Size Sexy' song. Sweety will remain as one more memorable role in her career irrespective of the Box Office outcome.
Arya plays his part perfectly but his character wasn't etched well. Sonal Chauhan scores with her glamour. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao & Urvasi were so natural in their respective roles. Brahmanandam is wasted completely. Prakash Raj as a cunning villain is first rate. Adivi Sesh is fine. Cameos of Nagarjuna, Tamanna, Hansika, Rana, Lakshmi Manchu, Jeeva and Bobby Simha were decent enough.
Pros:
Anushka
Concept
Production Values
Cons:
Screenplay
Lack of Emotional Connect
Technicalities:
MM Keeravani leaves his mark, especially with the 'Size Sexy' number and Background Score. Nirav Shah's Camera Work is a major highlight. Editing could have been better. Nothing special about Dialogues. Kanika deserved accolades for the Story but Screenplay is a let down. Prakash Kovelamudi's taste as a filmmaker is visible in few scenes. CG Work is pretty good. Production Values of PVP Cinema are appreciable.
Analysis:
Obesity is a universal problem and hence everyone can easily relate to the concept of 'Size Zero'. The biggest advantage for the movie is the Plot which anyone can connect and the casting of Anushka for the lead role. As the promotional material is very promising, Film Buffs expected the movie to be as refreshing as possible. In reality, The presentation was pretty ordinary to say the least to leave audience disappointed.
'Accept the way you are…The society will follow suit!' is the message 'Size Zero' conveys. Apart from it, The film also endorses the idea of weight loss in a healthy manner rather than preferring artificial techniques. Makers tried to convey these messages in an entertaining manner.
'Size Zero' is definitely a film made with good intent and there is no doubt about it. Director succeeded in presenting problems faced by Obese women in a funny manner. While the First Half was pretty decent, Screenplay looked terrible in the Second Half. Repetitive Scenes, Predictable Screenplay & Lag in the Narration are the setbacks.
The scenes depicting Heroine's realization weren't pleasing enough. Even the confrontation between Heroine & Villain is ineffective. The issue of 'Obesity' moves side track in the Second Half and focus is more on Heroine settling scores with Villain. In addition, Direction failed to make audience connect with the pain of the lead character. That's the biggest drawback one can point out!
Bottom Line: Watch it just for Anushka!
