Christina Akheeva looks pretty and plays her part quite well. Parul Yadav is just okay. Nothing much to say about the rest of the cast.
Pros:
Concept
Cons:
Complex/Confusing Narration
Direction
Technicalities:
Guru Kiran's Music isn't impressive at all but his BGM is decent enough. Camera Work is pretty average. Art Direction is good. Dialogues are hard hitting. Production Values are nice.
Analysis:
Upendra who is known for his out-of-the-box plots arrives this time with an out-of-the-world idea. Usually, Audience connect with some point in his films even though he gets a bit overboard at times. But, This Senior Hero has gone completely mad when it comes to 'Upendra 2'.
We might have come across some of the worst films over the decades, but something of such low standards from a man with stature of Upendra can't be digestible. Telugu Fans of Upendra patiently waited till the Climax to see if there is something impressive at some point but they were let down completely. Audience weren't able to figure out what's the actual story and what does Upendra wishes to convey with the movie. A conclusion is being drawn by the viewers that Upendra himself lacked the clarity on the subject chosen.
Upon watching the movie, Audience raise the doubts how did Upendra convince his co-stars and technicians to be part of 'Upendra 2'. Has the actors & technicians simply signed the film due to Uppi's track record? Such possibility can't be ruled out after sitting in the theatres for over 2 hours.
In the film, Upendra preaches one should live in the present and needn't worry about the future. However, The method he choose to convey his philosophy isn't appreciable. That's all we could say about 'Upendra 2'. Going deep into aspects like Story, Screenplay, Performance & Technicalities is waste of time for such sub-standard products.
Watching 'Upendra 2' will make one loose the admiration they have for Upendra. So, better stay away...!
Bottom Line: Torture Unlimited!
