According to the information, Arun Sai Reddy Bollendula (26) from Mahabubnagar, Telangana, India, was living in Tampa, Florida, and working on STEM OPT status. He reportedly passed away on June 19, 2026, following a sudden medical emergency.
For those unfamiliar with the U.S. immigration system, STEM OPT is a program that allows international students who graduate in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields to work in the United States after completing their studies.
This speaks a lot about the kind of pressure that is sustained by the Telugu community and also the general student population in the United States.
This is closely presided by another shocking involving at Telugu toddler, who has sadly passed away after falling out from a moving vehicle.
This incident happened in the California region of the United States when a young toddler Dhanvin Challa was travelling with his family, happened to the fallout of the moving vehicle, and he was pronounced dead on the spot.
This incident has shocked the entire Telugu community as a young life has been lost so early due to vehicular negligence.
