The United Kingdom is one of the most preferred nations for international students. After the US, students pick the UK. In the past few years, the number of students who go there has been increasing. The educational institutions there are seeing a big jump in international students.

However, the international students might face issues with the Visas as the administration is said to be working on imposing new restrictions. It is being reported that the UK wants to make the visa rules strict so that the applications can be filtered and only skilled students can come to the country.

The experts say that the Graduate Route immigration policy might be changed to make the rules tough. A think tank sent its recommendations to the Prime Minister's Office and if everything goes well we might see a big announcement coming on this.

It is being said that PM Rishi Sunak wants to bring a policy where the best students can land in the UK and others might be stopped. This can be seen as a big call by the UK.

Earlier we have seen house rents and accommodation costs going up massively in the UK. The rise in international students was suspected as one of the main reasons for this and the government might work on this.

Adding fuel to this, the administration is said to be working on this. If this gets effective then international students who want to go to the UK might face issues. Indians will also face the heat as our students are going there in big numbers.

On the other hand, a few experts are believed to have advised the administration to not make any changes to the visas as it might hit the institutions. More and more international students are moving to the UK. If the numbers go down then the institutions and accommodation sector will also be affected.

It is said that the fears already gripped the students as some of the Universities reportedly saw a drop in the student numbers.
