F1 Visa Slots: More Trouble For Indians Now?

The F1 student visa that is granted for international students who used to study in the United States is one of the most desired documentations in connection with the USA. However, things are not looking promising for the Indian population now.

Considering the fact that a large version of the Indian student population prefers to travel to the United States for better employment and higher studies, the F1 Visa is highly sought after documentation.

However, the excessive demand for the F1 visa has resulted in very peculiar situation now as whatever vacant slots are not fully accessible to the domestic population.

The prime, June and July slots are almost entirely booked up already when the portal opened for applications a couple of days ago. Multiple logins and user traffic created a peculiar situation as almost all the slots in bulk were gone in a matter of few minutes.

Add to this, the students will now have to face another challenging situation as the United States has started to reject the majority of these applications. The United States rejection rate of visa has reached 61% which is the highest in history.

It appears that the American dream for the Indian student population to leave the country and travel to the US is going to be far more complex in the days to follow.

High rejection rates and inadequate supply of F1 visas could be creating more problematic situations for the Indian student communities. Other alternate is like Australia and Japan are to be looked at with the current scenario in mind.
