Indian man arrested for murder in U.S.: What’s Happening?

The Indian community is struggling to keep ahold of themselves as there are several anti social activities happening. A shocking murder has taken place in Fremont, California. A 29-year-old Indian-origin man named Varun Suresh has been arrested for killing David Brimmer, a 71-year-old registered sex offender.

The incident happened on September 18 around noon. Police were called after a violent argument was reported. When they reached the spot, they found Brimmer with severe stab wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.

According to court records, Suresh found Brimmer’s details on Megan’s Law, a public website that lists sex offenders.

He went to Brimmer’s home pretending to be a certified public accountant. When Brimmer tried to run, Suresh chased him for two blocks and caught him in a neighbor’s garage. He then stabbed him in the neck and cut his throat while shouting “repent.”

During questioning, Suresh told police that he hates pedophiles and believes they deserve death. He even said killing was “fun.” Authorities have charged him with murder, burglary, and using a deadly weapon. Reports also reveal that Suresh had a criminal history, including burglary and making threats in 2021.

This case has raised serious questions about vigilantism, mental health, and the misuse of public sex offender databases.
