Breaking: Indian “Babu” Gets Warrant In Canada! Is He Telugu?

It is already known that a large person of the Indian population had travelled to Canada for better employment opportunities and living conditions. But many of them indulge in antisocial activities which are extremely detrimental in nature.Now we are witnessing the case of an Indian origin man named Gangadhar Babu, who appear to be a Telugu guy, and he has now gotten an arrest warrant against him in Canada.

Toronto police issued a Canada-wide warrant for 29-year-old Gangadhar Babu, who allegedly posed as a psychic and spiritual leader named “Babu” to scam a victim.Between April 2024 and September 2025, he ran the Indian Psychic and Spiritual Healer business, using rituals and threats of death or harm to extract over $800,000.

While this is a practice that is common in India in the name of Babaji’s and Amma’s, it is extremely shock to see a similar development happen in Canada, and that too involving an Indian man. There are also questions if Gangadhar Babu is a native of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana

Police believe more victims exist, suspect Babu fled to India, and released his photo showing dark curly hair, trimmed beard, and a gap between front teeth.It is suspected that he might have moved back to India after his scam got exposed in Canada, but the operation is very much happening and it has to be seen what would be the outcome.
