The students, identified as Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar from Cleveland State University, were involved in a severe crash that resulted in their vehicle colliding with a tree and subsequently striking a bridge. This unfortunate event occurred early on a Saturday, casting a somber mood over the community.

Following the accident, another individual seated in the front of the car suffered injuries and is presently receiving medical attention. The nature of their injuries and their current health status have not been disclosed, highlighting the severity of this mishap.

"Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate road accident in which two Indian students from Cleveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar, lost their lives; Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this difficult time.
