Indians Running After O1 And L1 Visa: Here’s The Reason Why!

The Indian population has been running after the United States visas for a really long time now and that is going to continue in the future as well. In this context, it appears that there’s a transition that’s happening with regard to the choice of visa for Indians.

Many employment based visa categories such as EB2 EB3 O1 and L1 are designed with clearly defined standards. These visas demand proven skills experience or exceptional ability and are tied to roles that demonstrate real value to the economy.

In most cases the applicant must show that they are filling a position that cannot easily be occupied by a local citizen or that their contribution is significant enough to justify special consideration. The process may be strict but it is also logical and transparent.

If one particular visa category ends up impacting Indians far more than others there is likely a reason behind it. That difference usually lies in the nature of the applicants and the type of jobs involved rather than nationality alone.

Many roles tied to lottery based visas do not require extraordinary skills or rare expertise and therefore face heavier scrutiny and random selection. Governments naturally prioritize visas that attract innovation leadership and specialized knowledge over roles that are easily replaceable within the local workforce.

True excellence and high impact talent rarely depend on luck. Individuals with exceptional ability strong credentials or unique experience usually have multiple pathways available to them. They are evaluated on merit not chance.

When immigration relies on a lottery system it often reflects oversupply rather than outstanding demand. In that sense the system is not unfair but selective by design favoring proven value over volume.
