Jaahnavi Kandula's Death: Police Department Shocks Cop!

So far we have heard many unfortunate incidents about Indians and Indian-origin people in the United States. Be it attacks or killings or robbery the list of incidents is quite long. While every incident is concerning, one incident would go down as the most sensational. We are talking about Jaahnavi Kandula's Death here.

The Indian student breathed her last when she was struck by a Police Vehicle. Everyone knows the sensation the incident had created back then. Several concerns were raised. Now the issue took a big turn as the Cop who laughed off at her death was removed from services.

Police Officer Daniel Auderer laughed about her death back then. The cops' behavior did not go well with many who sought action against him. Now the Department has sacked him from the position. It is known that earlier he was suspended from the position.

The Seattle Police Department took a strong decision and removed him from the job. Interim Chief Sue Rahr was quoted by the mainstream media saying that the words the cop used reacting to the victim’s death was objectionable and they caused a lot of pain to her family.

She said that the damage caused by his comments on the family cannot be erased and hence the decision was taken. The chief said that what the Police officer had done brought shame to the whole department and the job of the officers was also made more difficult.

She said that allowing the Police officer to continue in his position would be a dishonor for the department and hence he is terminated from his position.

Jaahnavi Kandula was hit by a Police officer while crossing the road. A Police officer who received a drug overdose call was driving at an over speed to reach the post. The same vehicle hit the girl. Daniel Auderer made objectionable comments and said that she had limited value.
