An unsettling incident in San Antonio created panic among tourists when a woman suddenly attacked a boat full of passengers with pepper spray. The event took place during an evening river tour on the popular San Antonio River Walk.
According to eyewitness accounts, the trouble began when the boat operator requested a woman on board to lower the volume on her phone. Instead of cooperating, she became irritated and stepped off the boat when it paused near the walkway.
Within moments, she moved onto a nearby bridge, turned toward the passengers, and sprayed pepper spray directly at them without any warning.
Eight people were affected by the attack, including an Indian family traveling with a small toddler. The child was seen crying in pain and rubbing his eyes as other tourists struggled to breathe and recover from the sudden assault.
Videos captured by bystanders quickly spread online, showing the confusion and shock among the boat passengers as they tried to help one another.
After spraying the group, the woman fled the scene and has not yet been identified. The random and aggressive nature of the attack has raised serious concerns about tourist safety in the area. Authorities are investigating the incident and reviewing available footage to locate the attacker.
