Tariffs on India will lead to trade war: US Congressman-elect Subramanyam

"I am not in favor of tariffs. I think it's a really bad idea. It could lead to a trade war. I believe it's not good for either country. There are many companies in India that are doing very well and many of them are expanding their operations in America, too. Economically, the two countries need to work together more. That is how we can become stronger. India is the largest democracy. The strengthening of the US-India relationship is crucial for both sides," Subramanyam told PTI.
