The volume of the dangerous fraud activities committed by the Indian community in the United States has been on a raise and this trend is not going down in the near future either.With a large population of the Indian student community, travelling to the United States for higher studies and better employment opportunities, the volume of the antisocial activities done by the community has also gone up.

Now a shocking and dangerous fraud that is being committed by Telugu students and also other Indian students in the United States has come to light and great caution needs to be exercised in this regard.Recently, there has been an increase in fraud cases involving people from Indian and particular Telugu student community in the Dallas area.

Allegedly, people are ordering food from restaurants using credit cards and then reporting the charge as fraud after receiving the food. When this happens, banks reverse the payment, and the restaurant loses money. But the hard fact here is that this is fraud. It is illegal and wrong. It is being heard that restaurants are taking this very seriously. They are reportedly checking CCTV footage, saving order details, and keeping video evidence.

This is not only a restaurant issue ans even and credit card companies are involved too. If fraud is proven, it can lead to police cases, legal problems, visa issues, loss of student status, and even jail term. At a time when the Trump administration is revoking visas even for small crimes, such credit card frauds and restaurant charges could lead to lethal consequences.
