It is already known that the NRI population in the United States of America has been growing almost on a consistent basis in the recent decades. Now the discussion has opened about the cultural choice that is being made by several NRIs including the Telugu population in the United States.

We now have the case of an NRI individual who had been staying in the United States for nearly 2 decades, and he has decided to come back to India on priority.

Apparently, this individual who had been staying in the United States for the last 18 years, had been working as a software engineer there, and he has now decided to come back to India. The reason behind this decision is to be with his family members and mainly parents who are in their final stages of life.

Apparently, this individual has collectively decided that it is best for him to spend time with his parents for the rest of their lives rather than simply make money and live a robotic life in the US.

This is more like a cultural shock to the Indian community in the US as this is a very strong decision that has been taken by this particular individual. It can very well inspire more, NRI people, including Telugu population to come back to India to be with their family members and friends in the closing stage of life.

It must be noted that many people publicly comment that the lifestyle in US is very robotic and will turn monotonous after a point with no one to speak to. This situation is exact opposite in India as we have people who are very close to us right beside us.

So if this runs out to be a cultural phenomenon, then we could be witnessing more NRIs and Telugu population also returning to the home origin of India. This can be considered as a positive shift in the momentum as we would be witnessing more domestic growth in the Indian market once that happens.
