Another Tragedy: Hyd Youth Dies In Car Crash!

These days we are hearing many cases of Telugu youth meeting with fatal accidents that are claiming their lives in the United States. A tragic road accident in the United States has claimed the life of a young student from Hyderabad.

The victim, Mohammed Zahid, was just 20 years old and had moved to the US in July 2024 to study at the University of Bridgeport. He was pursuing a course in health sciences and was staying in Connecticut.

On September 7, Zahid was returning to his dorm after attending college when his vehicle met with a serious accident. He was immediately shifted to St. Vincent Medical Center at Hartford Healthcare. Despite doctors’ efforts, he could not survive and passed away while undergoing treatment.

Zahid was a resident of Old Malakpet in Hyderabad and the son of Mohammed Ismail. His sudden death has left his family and friends devastated. The news has also caused deep sorrow among the Telugu community in the US.

Local politician Amjed Ullah Khan appealed to the Indian External Affairs Ministry, the Indian Embassy in Washington, and the Consulate General in New York to make urgent arrangements to bring Zahid’s body back to Hyderabad.

He also requested Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to extend support to the grieving parents in this difficult time.
