Leave US, Comeback To India: But Will People Listen?

It is already known that the situation of the Indian population in the United States has been very bad in the recent past due to the declining job market and prevailing H1B restrictions. In this context, the latest communication made by Indian entrepreneur and the founder of Zoho, Sreedhar Vembu has grabbed the attention on social media to a larger degree.

Reacting to earlier post about United States immigration authorities sending back Indians and also mandating Green card applicants to go back to India before applying the documentation, Sreedhar had any interesting post. In his message on social media, the Indian entrepreneur posted “I urge Indians on H-1B visas to return home with self-respect, even if you feel it's hardship and sacrifice. Let's make Bharat proud."

Reacting on this topic, a senior expert associated with Indian jobs in the United States has commented “A mid-level H-1B tech worker earns around $130,000 a year. The equivalent Indian role pays a fraction of that in a depreciating currency. This is not a simple geographic relocation.

“ It is a deliberate labor arbitrage strategy. Indian tech empires thrive by suppressing talent costs. To maintain their massive profit margins, they need world-class engineers to accept local, heavily discounted wages. The sacrifice he demands is your compounded wealth.” There are contrasting opinions on this matter now, and it has to be seen where this would end up in the near future.
