After changing the scene of Telugu cinema in many ways with PelliChoopulu, giving small films the much-needed boost, director Tharun Bhascker and actor Vijay Deverakonda collaborate yet again. The duo really pushed all boundaries to give the film an amazing release.
Well, years later, things have changed, and Vijay is today a name to reckon with in the film industry. He has become a star in how own right. And using his clout as a star, he kick-started a production house âKing of The Hill Entertainmentâ to help young filmmakers with talent who aren't getting opportunities!
The first project in that venture in Meeku Maathrame Cheptha for which he collaborates yet again with his director Tharun Bhascker, but not as a Director. The film sees him play the lead actor!
Apparently, Vijay Deverakonda himself convinced Tharun to take up this role as it was well suited for him!
Interestingly, this film also brings back the combination of the duo with Freeze Frame Films who distributed Pelli Choopulu in the US where it saw a very long run!
Touted to be a fun entertainer that will relate to the youth, the film is set to release on November 1st!
Freeze Frame Films, the leading distributor of Telugu films overseas, is taking the film to the audiences in the US and has planned a grand release starting with premieres on October 31st! TODAY !!
