Controversial 'The Kerala Story' Finally Arriving On OTT!

The movie which made a lot of noise across the country in 2023 is 'The Kerala Story'. A lot of people have tried to stop this film from being released in theatres and even resorted to legal justice as well. But the movie crossed all the hurdles and was released in May. In its first week, the movie earned 81 crores and it is the highest-grossing female-oriented flick in recent times. It ended up collecting 303 crores worldwide becoming the seventh highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023.

It showed that content is the king and not big stars who are making subpar films without any strong content. We usually see a lot of films arriving on OTT platforms within a month or two after its theatrical release. But it took a long time for 'The Kerala Story' due to its content. Finally, the movie is arriving on OTT as popular platform ZEE5 is going to be streaming this hit flick from 12th January. It will be coming out in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

The official announcement regarding this is expected to arrive soon. The movie is based on the Love Jihad concept which is prevalent in our society. Adah Sharma played the lead role in this film while Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani played the main roles as well. Sudipto Sen has written and directed this film while Vipul Amrutlal Shah produced it. There are allegations that this film is promoted by the ruling party as well.
