Why a dog was named after Trisha?

We have seen several movable or immovable assets named after people in the past, but definitely not a dog. Yes, the caretaker of baby hippo has named it after Southern actress Trisha for the love she shows on the animals.
"Sending lots of love and can't wait to meet Trisha aka baby hippo once I'm back in Chennai," commented the actress who is currently on a vacation.
It is known that Trisha promotes the adoption of dogs and has been the ambassador of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) since few years.
Currently, she is juggling between two projects. One happens to be MS Raju's 'RUM' and a Tamil flick 'Boologam' opposite Jayam Ravi. Her recent release 'Ventadu Vetadu' failed to set the cash registers ringing despite receiving descent reviews. The only chance for this hottie to sustain in the Industry is to score at least a hit in the near future.
