Shruti Haasan quashed the rumors of playing second fiddle in Jr NTR-Harish Shankar's film. Though the actress will appear for a brief time in the flick, she refused to accept the tag of second heroine.
"The role (Bhagyalakshmi) played by me in Gabbar Singh earned me lot of accolades and I consider it as my turning point. When Harish narrated the script of his next film, he insisted that only I should play the role. I was doing this special role in NTR's film for the belief the director had in me and he was the one who inspired me," she clarifies.
Shruti Haasan was to pair opposite NTR in Dammu, but walked out of the film as the dates clashed with her other projects. Finally, Harish made this combination happen.
The other projects of Shruti Haasan in Telugu were Yevadu opposite Ram Charan and Balupu opposite Raviteja. Wish the multi-talented beauty good luck!
