Division in AP Congress over T issue

The Telangana issue is splitting the leaders and Ministers in AP Congress party. Ever since the all party meeting held in New Delhi last month, the leaders from both regions queued up to capital city for lobbying to fulfill their demands on Telangana issue.

Telangana leaders and Seemandhra leaders have mounted pressure on Congress High Command for their demands. Telangana Congress MPs step up their activities to put the
pressure on high command for the formation of Telanagana. Panchayat Raj Minister who led the Telangana Congress leaders had gone to New Delhi to discuss with congress senior leaders on Telangana issue.

After getting the positive signals for Telangana state, the Seemandhra Congress leaders plunged into action to stall the formation of Telangana. Ministers who support united Andhra Pradesh, T.G.Venkatesh, Kasu Krishna Reddy, Vishwaroop, Sailaja Nath and Erasu Pratap Reddy rushed to New Delhi and discussed with the congress leaders to keep the state united.

Meanwhile, Ganta Srinivasa Reddy has also joined with the integrationist leaders and announced to conduct Samakyandra meeting in Hyderabad. His statements irked Telangana Congress leaders. Andhra Pradesh senior leader K Keshava Rao sarcastically reacted to Ganta's statements. The other congress leaders also objected the Samakyandhra meeting in Hyderabad. The brewing Telangana issue is widening the distance between two regional leaders in Andhra Pradesh.
