The expectations of this movie reached upto bollywood. Recently when came to chennai, bollywood producer Anurag Kashyap met Bala. Anurag watched the movie Pardesi and praised Bala a lot. Anurag said that he had never seen such kind of movie after entering the film industry.

Moreover there is a news that Anurag has decided to release this movie in Hindi The news was that he wants to release the movie with an English and Hindi sub titles.
