Medhak district recorded the best voting percentage this time and the main reason is stated to be the district collection Smitha. As per the sources, Smitha promoted the value of votes to all the people in the district before the elections. It seems that she even gave few legal offers like free petrol and recharge for the voters in Medhak.
This raised the voting percentage in Medhak and this is considered as a sensational aspect. There are 2 angles in this one. On one hand, Smitha did a great job by encouraging voting in the district with the offers. On the other hand, people will get habituated to the gifts and this will in turn lead to disaster.
Few analysts are saying that the state is witnessing lots of corruption during elections time. It became a fashion to take money during elections time and majority of the people were habituated to this concept. Initially, politicians used to impress people with good works but now few of them are appearing before the voters with currency notes.
