Jagan beats KCR by one ticket!!
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 April 2014 5:17 AM GMTIndia might be a modern democracy but family and feudal loyalties are intrinsic to it's culture. Almost every party has taken on the practice of treating politics as a family business. From our state two of the parties competing hard to show their family mark in politics and the both were TRS and YCP which was led by Jagan & KCR respectively.
YSRCP in Seemandhra and TRS in Telangana have turned into family -run-political parties and they are keen on giving tickets to family persons rather than worth full candidates.
TRS already announced four tickets to its family members including TRS chief K.Chandra shekar Rao , his son K.T.Rama Rao, his daughter Kavitha and his nephew Harish rao.
Now by surpassing KCR ,YSRCP chief Jagan offers five tickets to his family members which including , his mother Vijayamma, cousin brother Y.S. Avinash Reddy ,Uncle YV Subbareddy and another uncle Ravindranath Reddy.
Political observers opine that it is rotten Family package from the party chiefs which was not at all acceptable and it may also turns as threat to democracy .Compare to other parties TDP is far better and keeping away family members and the candidates were selected based on their talent and hard work.
Despite being a flourishing democracy for more than six decades, Indian politics is still very much a family business.
