AP CM to launch Xiaomi's First India Manufactured Phone

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is all set to launch Xiaomi's First India Manufactured Phone in Visakhapatnam on Monday as part of the 'Make in India, Made in Andhra Pradesh' programme.
TDP Supremo's China visit earlier this year was the key reason behind this development. It is learnt that Xiaomi is looking forward to set up its manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh.
A large Hoarding has been placed with a 'Make in India' logo welcoming arrivals at Visakhapatnam airport. Xiaomi vice president Hugo Barra says, "GOOD MORNING VIZAG! This is what you see as you walk out of the Visakhapatnam airport arrival terminal this weekend. We're about to take a huge step forward here in India! Can you take a guess?".
Xiaomi, a Chinese firm, is currently the 3rd largest smartphone maker in the World. In Today's event Xiaomi will announce its expansion plans in India.
