Hyderabad Police recently launched 100 special teams to check harassment of women in public places.
The teams named as SHE teams and they work exclusively for safety of the women. SHE Teams appointed in Hyderabad are proving to be very effective. On Tuesday, they have arrested a cab driver for allegedly taking a video of his sleeping female passenger..
Going into details members of a `SHE' team of police, on duty near IT Corridor, found Md Abdul Rashid filming the woman passenger in his cab on a mobile phone while driving. The woman was a BPO employee and was sitting in the front seat and falls into sleep and unaware about the secret filming of cab driver.
The police stopped his car, seized the cell phone and found a seven-minute footage of the woman in it.they took him into custody after the complaint filed by the manager of BPO firm.
Each SHE team comprises five police personnel and they have been provided small cameras to record the movements of suspects.
