Centre more partial towards AP: KTR

Panchayati Raj and Information Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao accused Narendra Modi led NDA Government of more partial to Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out Telangana would have done lot better had if Centre backed it properly.

The remarks of KTR gained prominence as they were made just a month ahead of the first anniversary (June 2nd) of India's youngest state.

KTR complained Union Government took 9 months to give Telangana its share of IAS officers. He adds, 'Division of Employees and bifurcation of High Court is yet to complete'.

The Minister described the issues between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as natural. He points out even Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have a friction and such fallout is expected post bifurcation. He also declares Telangana has handles such matters in a much more matured manner.
