Veteran cinematographer A. Vincent, who teamed up with Raghavendra rao for movies like Adavi Ramudu; Annamayya ; Major Chandrakanth died on Wednesday.

KRR who shares a great rapport with him working for so many of his films was deeply saddened with his death and the director expressed his condolences to the family.KRR Tweeted : "RIP A. Vincent garu. We both have worked for many movies. Very sad to hear about his demise. Extremely talented and good at heart.."

KRR recalled his memories with Vincent and he reminded his work for Chiru starrer Jagadheka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari movie.

KRR added: "Jagadheka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' movie is so beautiful only because of Vincent garu. He had shown every frame like a painting and exactly like what was in my mind. The greatness about him was that he had shown polythene covers like snow hills in 'Andhaalalo Mahodayam' song in those days. I can't digest that he is no more. I pray that his soul rests in peace."

Born in Calicut, Kerala on 14 June 1928, Vincent started his career as cinematographer with Telugu movie "Chandi Rani" in 1953. Later, he handled camera work for many Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi movies. The 86-year-old cinematographer-turned-director is survived by wife Margret, children Jayanan and Ajayan Vincent.
