Jayaprada, Nagma and Hema Malini Films Banned

As the model code of conduct has come into effect, Films of stars like Jayaprada, Nagma and Hema Malini have been banned from being telecast on National television channel Doordarshan.
Election Officials have taken this decision upon receiving several complaints that the films of these stars have been influencing the voters. Film Stars have been getting undue advantage through their films and hence they were viewed as objects influencing voters.
Jayaprada is contesting on Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) ticket from Bijnore Lok Sabha constituency. Nagma entered into poll fray for the first time and she was offered Congress ticket from Meerut MP segment. Hema Malini is the BJP candidate from Mathura Lok Sabha constituency.
While polling in Lok Sabha segments from where Jayaprada and Nagma are contesting completed, Polling is yet to happen in constituencies of Hema Malini and few other celebs.
