Till now people use to demand Bikes, Cars and Houses as dowries. Now one more thing has added in the list and it was I phone 6.the craze and aura surrounding I phone is getting bigger day by day.Sales of Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus began across the world with geeks and gizmo lovers queuing up at retail stores.
In Saudi it was a customary for people to exchange gifts in marriages.Surprisingly a man was asked to give an iPhone 6 as dowry by the brother of a woman he had proposed to marry.
The brother demanded that if the man wanted the marriage to happen, he should offer the I phone to his sister. The gift is to be offered as soon as the device is available locally and the marriage cannot take place until then..Due to the demand the marriage might get delayed as Apple is yet to announce the launch date of new iPhones in the gulf country.
So Far Apple has released iPhone in USA, France, Canada, Germany, Singapore, England, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan only as a part of first round of its global sales.In India the much awaited phone will be available from October 17 th and according to sources the price of the device in black market is somewhere around 1 lakh.
