Director Puri Jagan has this habit of sharing pictures with his pet birds and dogs on twitter. He happens to be avid lover of pets and tames every interesting animal he gets to see. Speaking with a leading news daily, Puri revealed how much he loves these pets and how much he spends.
Ive dogs like Labrador, German Shepherd, Chua and others with me. There are many imported birds, speaking parrots and a Persian cat along with three rabbits. My wife Lavanya also takes care of these pets as we spend almost 1 hour everyday with them, said Puri. Including a caretakers salary, we spend nearly 30,000 rupees for these pets for food and monthly health checkups, he added. Calling his pets as mini-zoo, Puri is spending nearly a thousand a day.
