Race Gurram 2 in the offing!

'Race Gurram' emerged as the biggest grosser of 2014 with a Worldwide share of Rs 59 crore as this commercial potboiler had everything in right proportions to hit the bull's eye. Now, The makers of this smash hit are planning a sequel which might go on floors any time soon.
Director Surender Reddy confirms: "Films like Race Gurram and Kick were loved so much by the audience. Hence, We wish to make them a franchise. I have plans to make Race Gurram 2 with Allu Arjun. Even Kick 3 is in the planning stage".
When quizzed about the response for 'Kick 2', Surender Reddy claims the word-of-mouth and revenues in the opening weekend are overwhelming. He feels that's what matters ultimately not what few reviewers feel or think.
'Kick 2' First Weekend Worldwide share is Rs 16.26 crore. On its First Monday, The film managed a share of Rs 1.25 crore in Telugu states. Initial mixed talk contributed to big drop in revenues on Weekdays. As there are no notable releases this Friday, This should certainly help 'Kick 2' manage good revenues in the 2nd Weekend.
