Alliance with TDP: BJP demands CM post!

BJP seems to be keen on forming the government in Telangana and hence the National Party is demanding Chief Minister post for a pre-poll alliance with TDP.

During the seat sharing discussion, BJP demanded 50 Assembly and 8 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. TDP will have no objection to offer these seats in the T-region as the alliance with BJP is a must for it. However, the CM post is playing a spoilsport for the alliance.

Analysts say, Its the Pawan Kalyan's unconditional support to BJP that prompted the National party to bargain for more. On the other hand, Some credit for supporting Telangana state and Narendra Modi's wave are a bonus.

A BJP leader said: "In fact, We are giving seats to TDP in Telangana, not the other way. What's wrong if we demand CM post?".
