A high alert has been sounded in Delhi ahead of the visit of the US President Barack Obama.Fearing about possible terror attempts by the Pakistan-based terror outfits the security has been tightened ahead Obama's visit to India for Republic Day.

Obama was provided with seven layer security at Rajpath for the Republic Day parade on Jan 26th.Air space over the parade also monitored by special radar. Seventy-five anti-terror squad (ATS) personnel will be deployed on the outer periphery of the security ring protecting the US president.

Already American security agencies landed in the city and conducted the preliminary survey of the routes taken by the president.They also passed some instructions about seating arrangement. Apart from all the measures a multi-agency control room will monitor the surveillance operations in all the area of the Delhi.

The US president is arriving in India Jan 25. He will the chief guest at the Republic Day Parade Jan 26. Obama is scheduled to visit Taj Mahal in Agra on January 27 where NSG commandos will be deployed in and around the monument.
