Will Mahesh take up Surya’s My Tree Challenge?

For the past few months the Ice Bucket Challenge to spread awareness about ALS has been the hottest topic on social media. Later we heard about Rice Bucket challenge which was initiated by Hyderabadi woman.

Now here comes another extension and this time it was My Tree Challenge. Even as Ice Bucket challenge created waves worldwide, Malayalam actors have kicked up an eco-friendly initiative called My Tree Challenge (MTC). The challenge was launched by Mammootty by planting a sapling on one of his shooting locations.

"As you all know 'ALS Ice Bucket Challenge' is being viral online and offline media. I proudly kick start a novel concept called 'My Tree challenge'. I request all my friends from the Malayalam Film Industry and all Facebook friends to join in for the good cause and make this world a greener place to live in. I challenge Shah Rukh Khan from Bollywood, Vijay and Surya from Tamil Film Industry to plant a sapling and join this Eco revolution," Mammootty posted on his Facebook page.

Taking the challenge, Surya said "Dear Mammootty sir, I take up "My Tree Challenge". Lot of happiness and this is very close to me. I would also like to nominate Mr. Aamir Khan, Mr. Sudeep , my another dear friend Mahesh Babu and all their fans and of course my fans too to support this wonderful cause. Thanks."

Now, it remains to be seen whether our tollywood prince accepts the challenge?
