It’s known that two years back Akkineni Nagarjuna has launched a film institute named Annapurna International School of Film and Media (AISFM) and it is the India’s first private, non-profit media school. Big stars like Kamal Hassan and Veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi are the members of the Academic Advisory Board of the AISFM. Renowned directors Shyam Benagal and Rajamouli are some of the guest faculties of the institute

The institute was founded by the Akkineni family and it was located at Annapoorna studio.AISFM offers courses in acting, directing, cinematography, editing, writing and producing. Many enthusiastic young people trained on this school and trying their luck in film industry.

Nag was the first person to encourage their students and he was announced that three students of AISFM have been selected to act in ‘Manam’ movie, one of the most eagerly awaited film of Tollywood, where the three generations of the Akkineni family will be seen for the first time They are Kaushal Sharma, Srikar Chittarbu and Krishna Yadavin.

Kaushal Sharma is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Hyderabad. Srikar is Lawyer by profession.Krishna has already acted in two short films and gained some experience in this field.
